Purple Pokémon Cards

Some of the Pokémon TCG's most talented artists have produced memorable purple card art. Atsuko Nishida, Ken Sugimori and Mitsuhiro Arita are among the most represented illustrators in this collection of 50 cards. Their work spans from 1999 to 2026.

The most frequently featured Pokémon include Gastly, Mewtwo and Haunter. Cards from Neo Destiny, Stellar Crown and Prismatic Evolutions make up the strongest showing.

Common visual elements across these purple cards include floating, surreal, glowing orbs, sphere and skyscrapers. Each card is scored by how prominently purple appears in the artwork, using color space analysis of the card image.
